NOW HIRING: Registered Nurse (RN) – Detox Program

Looking for Nursing That Feels Meaningful Again?

Project Turnabout is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our detox team.

Detox nursing is different from hospital work. It is focused, personal, and deeply impactful. Our nurses are often the first steady presence someone experiences when they make the decision to enter recovery.

If you are looking for work that combines strong clinical practice with real human connection, this may be the right fit.

Work That Changes Lives

Detox is often the first turning point in someone’s recovery journey. As a nurse in our program, you are there when a patient decides they cannot keep living the way they have been. Your steady assessments, calm presence, and clinical skill help them move safely through withdrawal and toward hope. The care you provide in those first critical days can set the tone for everything that follows.

What Makes Detox Nursing Different?

Our detox nurses:

  • Monitor and assess withdrawal symptoms
  • Administer medications using evidence-based protocols
  • Track vital signs and identify medical risks early
  • Support patients through anxiety, discomfort, and uncertainty
  • Work closely with providers and clinical staff in a collaborative environment

This is assessment-based, hands-on nursing. Your clinical judgment matters here.

Why Join Our Team?

  • Structured environment with clear protocols
  • Supportive interdisciplinary team
  • Opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients
  • Work that directly supports long-term recovery
  • Competitive pay and benefits

At Project Turnabout, we believe Every Turnabout Counts. Our nursing team plays a critical role in helping people begin that turn.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Compassionate and professional demeanor
  • Interest in addiction medicine or behavioral health

Experience in detox, emergency, or mental health settings is helpful but not required.

Ready to Make an Impact?

If you are ready to practice nursing in a setting where your work changes lives, we would love to talk with you.
