Flexible Support That Fits Real Life
You do not have to put your life on pause to get help.
Project Turnabout’s Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Outpatient (OP) Treatment Programs are designed for people who need professional, structured support for alcohol or drug use while continuing to meet work, school, and family responsibilities.
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
What Is Outpatient Treatment?
Outpatient treatment provides structured substance use disorder care without overnight stays.
Begin recovery with structured support
Structured support means you don’t have to figure everything out by yourself. You attend regular sessions, talk with counselors, and spend time with others who understand what you’re going through. Having a set schedule and clear expectations helps make recovery feel more manageable, gives you support when things get hard, and helps you build healthier routines while you keep living your everyday life.
Gradually reduce treatment intensity
Gradually reducing treatment intensity means you don’t stop support all at once. As you make progress, you move to fewer sessions while still staying connected to counselors and group support. This helps you practice what you’re learning in real life, build confidence, and adjust at a pace that feels steady and manageable instead of overwhelming.
Transition from a treatment-based approach to a self-initiated recovery approach
Transitioning from a treatment-based approach to a self-initiated recovery approach means learning how to take what you’ve practiced in treatment and use it on your own. Over time, you rely less on scheduled sessions and more on the skills, routines, and support systems you’ve built, so recovery becomes something you actively choose and maintain in your daily life rather than something that only happens in treatment.
Is Outpatient Right for Me?
Outpatient treatment may be a good fit if:
- You want help but need to keep working, going to school, or caring for family.
- You have a safe and stable place to live.
- You can attend regular sessions each week.
- You are ready to learn new skills and build healthier routines.
- You are stepping down from a higher level of care.
- You are not sure what level of care you need but are open to an assessment.
Outpatient Treatment That Fits Your Life
Flexible daytime and evening programs for adults and teens (16+) that adjust over time, offering the right level of support so you can begin with more help and move forward at a steady, manageable pace while keeping up with work, school, and family.
INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT
Intensive Outpatient (IOP) is the most structured outpatient option and often the place people start. You attend three group sessions each week and meet one-on-one with a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. IOP helps you stabilize your substance use, manage emotions, and build a healthy daily routine.
