Practice Mental Health Care Where Clinicians Are Supported and Communities Matter

Project Turnabout is hiring a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide care within our high-intensity residential treatment center in Granite Falls, Minnesota. This role is essential to the stability and effectiveness of residential treatment, where clinicians work closely with individuals experiencing complex mental health and co-occurring concerns.

About the Role

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor provides clinical services within a high-intensity residential treatment environment. Clients in this setting often present with significant mental health needs, co-occurring substance use disorders, and life stressors that require thoughtful assessment, strong clinical boundaries, and consistent collaboration.

This position is well suited for a clinician who wants to engage deeply in clinical work while being supported by a multidisciplinary team. Supervisory experience is not required. The focus of this role is providing high-quality care in a structured residential setting, with leadership and consultation available to support sound clinical decision making rather than adding unnecessary administrative responsibilities.

Position Details

  • Title: Licensed Mental Health Counselor
  • Salary: $67,000–$77,000 annually, depending on experience
  • Program: High-intensity residential mental health treatment
  • Location: Granite Falls, Minnesota

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a licensed clinician who brings clinical maturity, compassion, and professionalism to a residential treatment setting.

Qualified candidates will hold one of the following licenses:

Project Turnabout places strong emphasis on clinical support and professional growth, especially in high-intensity settings where the work can be demanding. Our approach includes:

  • Access to clinical supervision and consultation
  • Ongoing professional development opportunities
  • Leadership that understands the realities of residential treatment

We believe clinicians do their best work when they are supported, informed, and encouraged to continue developing their skills.

Benefits That Support Real Life
