Help Create a Fresh Start by Supporting Our Sharing and Caring Program

Our Sharing and Caring program exists for one simple reason: the basics matter.

When someone walks through our doors for treatment, many arrive with almost nothing. Your donations allow us to provide hygiene products and other essential items that restore a sense of normalcy, dignity, and self-care at a time when life often feels overwhelming.

Research consistently shows that access to personal care items reduces stress, increases emotional regulation, and strengthens a person’s ability to participate fully in treatment. Feeling clean and cared for helps people settle, connect, and believe they are worth investing in. Something as small as having your own shampoo or a fresh toothbrush genuinely supports the recovery process. It signals safety. It signals belonging. And it gives people the confidence to take the next step.

You can help us make that fresh start possible.

We are currently collecting items such as:

• Shampoo and conditioner
• Body wash and bar soap
• Toothbrushes and toothpaste
• Deodorant
• Lotion
• Hairbrushes and combs
• Pads and tampons
• Razors and shaving cream
• Socks, gloves, and warm basics
• Journals, pens, and small comfort items

In-kind donations can be dropped off at our Granite Falls campus or mailed to:

Project Turnabout
PO Box 116
Granite Falls, MN 56241

Thank you for caring. Your generosity becomes someone’s first moment of hope—and the beginning of their fresh start.

If you prefer to give financially, you can make an online donation and simply note that you would like your gift directed to our Sharing and Caring program. Every dollar helps us stock the essentials that help someone feel human again.
