Building Stronger Bridges: The Corrections Connections Luncheon

Who

Project Turnabout is bringing together regional Correctional Officers and Counseling and Administrative Staff for a shared luncheon focused on collaboration, communication, and community well-being. This event is designed for professionals who work at the intersection of corrections and treatment — where structure meets support, and recovery begins with understanding.

Why

Every day, our teams navigate complex systems designed to serve the same clients but from different angles. Correctional officers, probation staff, and treatment providers all want the same outcome: to help individuals build better lives. Yet, despite shared goals, our systems often operate in silos.

The Corrections Connections Luncheon aims to close that gap — strengthening how we understand each other’s roles, aligning communication, and discovering new ways to work together for the good of our clients and communities

How

This event will feature guided discussion, open Q&A, and practical takeaways to improve everyday collaboration between corrections and treatment professionals.

Together, we’ll explore:

  1. Building Understanding – Learn about each other’s goals, challenges, and processes.
  2. Improving Collaboration – Identify real-world communication and coordination strategies.
  3. Advancing Outcomes – Develop shared approaches that strengthen both systems for client success.
