Project Turnabout's beautiful new 90 bed campus is nestled in the spectacular Minnesota River Valley in the town of Granite Falls in southwestern Minnesota, only a two-hour drive from the Minneapolis or Sioux Falls, South Dakota airports. Granite Falls is rich in the history and culture of Minnesota.
Additional outpatient, halfway house and continuing care programs are also located in Marshall, Redwood Falls and Willmar, Minnesota.
Our main campus in Granite Falls houses our primary and extended care addiction programs including a nine-bed central medical unit, separate residential and program units for men and women, lecture hall, group rooms,
kitchen and dining facility, and a full size gymnasium and workout room.
The Vanguard program for Compulsive Gamblers is connected via walkway to the main center, and though it is an independent specialty program, shares common areas and resources of the entire facility. The residential program for Problem Gamblers serves 20 clients/patients.
The location of the spiritual center at the heart of the facility gives occupants a view of the rock outcroppings and prairie outside. It is a peaceful space for one-on-one and small group discussions. The spiritual center is non-denominational, incorporating diverse faiths, cultures and beliefs. A labyrinth on the grounds offers another opportunity for reflection. Turnabout/Vanguard bases its treatment model on the Minnesota Model of care and helping a person develop a sense of spirituality and trust is an important component. We are a welcoming facility that respects diversity and the uniqueness of every individual.
